good morning folks. I have been triggered and struggling the last few days and have visited a chat site. Because I didn't O the buzz is hard to shake. My wife had a bad dream and I confessed. I am concerned I don't have enough prayer support. It is so hard to ask and even harder to find safe people who are consistant. I would appreciatte your prayers for myself. Please pray that I can return to my first love...Jesus... and do the things I did in the beginning. To love Him and serve Him with joy. Thank you everyone.

Our Lord God, Brave needs your help to get back under your wings. Give him the wisdom and strength to flee from sexual sin and run to You. Open his eyes to the lies of sexual sin and the truth of the freedom You offer us. Help him to remember that only You offer the love and acceptance we all need and crave and that what sexual sin offers is destruction. In Christ's name I ask. Amen.

Braveheart,
I want you to know that as promised, I prayed for you every day last week. Each night, I hold devotions and prayers with my family. And we all prayed for you, brother. God bless you.

Just a quick update. I have been sober 16 days thanks mainly to my wife's help and support and of course Jesus by reminding me that he could return at any moment. This is the longest I've gone for several months in fact I was at my worst before this period of sobriety, not going more than a few days at a time since last winter.
I also believe this change has been due to the generational blessings conference and follow up we have gone through with Family Foundations International. We received prayer for many generational sins and strongholds and I believe we are being set free.
I can't imagine how horrible it would be to be acting out when the Lord returns. He asks us in His word "When I return will I find faith?" We live in a world in fast decline. I want to be part of the solution not the problem in the difficult days to come. He is coming soon folks. Be ready. Be awake!
I know I will be tempted again and without God's intervention and grace I will fall. Today I choose to serve Him rather than my flesh.
I also want to acknowledge the prayers of my brothers and sisters here on BG. Thankyou all so much. May the Lord bless each of you and sustain you.

That's good news, Braveheart. Every day we choose to stay sober is a good one. Welcome back.

I haven't updated here for awhile as there hasn't been much change. I am excited though I finally found a therapist that specializes in internet and sex addiction. I see him on Saturday so praying for the best.
