Oh, Amy,
These are just beautiful! I crochet, knit, tat, sew, spin and weave. Currently, I am on a knitting binge. It helps to sooth me and relaxes me. I find so much peace and joy from creating with my hands. I thank God for blessing me with this knowledge and talent. I feel the Lord calling me to use my gift to bless others. So, I am thinking about prayer blankets/shawls. For, every one thing I make for myself, I want to make something for someone else. I am not sure if I want to give them to people at my church, a women's shelter or who. I am praying for God to show me who would needs the blessing.

Yes using the gifts God has given us is soothing and relaxing. You will have to share some of your work with us. I would love to it!
Some other places you could donate to would be the local hospitals. They are on the front line for many domestic violence calls and are constantly in need of clothing and blankets for the women and children. Another would be retirement homes. Lots of elderly are forgotten and a homemade gift would make their day.
I rarely make anything for myself. I always gift my creations. The only thing I have kept for myself in years is the doily with the green leaves...and that only because I ran out of the green and couldn't match the color batches so the green is slightly off. I hate when that happens! Lol
