LOL...those are stuffed animals. Yeah our Ollie gets doted on too. I would love to have a German Shepard or a Rottweiler but half my family doesn't want a big dog.

Been busy finished Colby's blanket and have been making jams. I seriously need to get out my soap making stuff and make a batch soon. I am just about out of the bars I made in April. I haven't done much crocheting lately. I need to get a picture of Colby's blanket on here.

Been cooking most of the afternoon. Made Chessy Chichen Rice Bake for dinner while Mother made a batch of sugar cookie dough. It is now in the fridge and hopefully we can roll it out and cut later in the week. Haven't made homemade sugar cookies since I was a child. Still love them however.

Yummy! It is a tradition in our family to make vanilla toy cookies every Christmas season. They sound like your sugar cookies. We love them.

Mmmmm!! I love cookies. I used to make sugar cookies with my girls every year for Christmas... My SO and I baked a bunch this year and gave them to the nighbors. I've been munching on leftovers ever since. Looks like I'll have to get my sugar addiction back under control! lol

2 half gallon jars of sourkraut fermenting! They should be ready to try in a week or so.

I'm not a sauerkraut lover... But I'm super excited you are making some. Taking on new food adventures rock. My SO wants to have a food truck one day... I believe he'll do it... and he's got the talent! One of our favorite things to do is to create in the kitchen. Cooking is not my forte... but I'm a good helper!! I am excited to hear what your next culinary challenge will be!!

My next culinary challenge will be Christmas baking. I need to make cookies for a cookie swap at Celebrate Recovery and then pies for a local recovery program here. Most of the men won't be going home because it is too soon in their recovery and they know they will relapse if they go home for Christmas. Then after that will be Christmas dinner for the family.

Umm...I am disabled and have lots of free time? When you retire John you will understand. Its better to stay busy then to sit and stew....sitting and stewing tends to bring wrong thoughts to our minds.
