A good day. Be faithful in the little things that must be done, and God will bring forth good fruit.

Psalm 18:30 English Standard Version (ESV)

Psalm 119:103-104 English Standard Version (ESV)
How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.

Hi Will, it's so good to see you back!
Yes, I'm doing well by God's grace, and I pray the same for you!
I'm doing a systematic Bible reading, even though it will take me more that a year to do it. This AM I was in Jonah Chapter 2. Jonah threw himself into to raging sea, no doubt expecting to die. God, in His great mercy, had other plans. He hears our sincere cry from anywhere!
Jonah 2 (ESV)
Then Jonah prayed to the LORD his God from the belly of the fish, saying, “I called out to the LORD, out of my distress, and he answered me; out of the belly of Sheol I cried, and you heard my voice. For you cast me into the deep, into the heart of the seas, and the flood surrounded me; all your waves and your billows passed over me. Then I said, ‘I am driven away from your sight; yet I shall again look upon your holy temple.’ The waters closed in over me to take my life; the deep surrounded me; weeds were wrapped about my head at the roots of the mountains. I went down to the land whose bars closed upon me forever; yet you brought up my life from the pit, O LORD my God. When my life was fainting away, I remembered the LORD, and my prayer came to you, into your holy temple. Those who pay regard to vain idols forsake their hope of steadfast love. But I with the voice of thanksgiving will sacrifice to you; what I have vowed I will pay. Salvation belongs to the LORD!” And the LORD spoke to the fish, and it vomited Jonah out upon the dry land.

It's good you are reading the Word of God. That is how we encounter God and show how we love God.

VBS... It's for adults too. Tonight: the empty tomb. Vital to us, because we too, pictured in our baptism, have died and been raised with Christ. Colossians 3:1-10 (CSB) So if you have been raised with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Therefore, put to death what belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desire, and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, God’s wrath is coming upon the disobedient, and you once walked in these things when you were living in them. But now, put away all the following: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and filthy language from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self. You are being renewed in knowledge according to the image of your Creator.

My stumble and fall: I go to God Himself for all questions as to whether I am truly His child. I also go to the promises about forgiveness. God's word is my rock.

I'm on a good track right now. But considering my ups and downs of the last days, time will tell.
