James 1:2-4 New Living Translation (NLT)
2 Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. 3 For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. 4 So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
So not every day will be easy. GOD IS NOT ABSENT, He is very much with me. He lovingly measures testing times out. At no time does He cease to be God, the God who loves me with a love I cannot possibly fathom.

Yes, like the Scriptures says,, an opportunity for great joy. The world steals this truth and calls it "positive thinking" but let "God be true and every man a liar". The kindness and love of God is the real motivating factor that leads us to repentance. Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God's kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? Romans 2:4 ESV bible.com/bible/59/rom.2.4.ESV

1 Corinthians 10:13 New Living Translation (NLT)
The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.
So important, when that "feeling" comes over us. God is faithful!!!

odb.org/2019/06/14/clear-communication/ It talks about the Spirit interceding for us with groanings too deep for words (See Rom. 8:26-27) In Romans 8:4-6 we see that we are to walk according to the Spirit, not according to the flesh. Those who walk according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh. Result: DEATH Those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. Result: LIFE AND PEACE Romans 8:13 English Standard Version (ESV) For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. We are totally too weak to do this. We must do it BY THE SPIRIT. "For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, 'Abba! Father!'" (verse 15, also from the ESV)

2 Corinthians 10:3-4
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 English Standard Version (ESV)
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

Yes, we must glorify God in our body. Our body belongs to the Lord. Amen.

Hi Saved,
I love the Pilgrims, what a blessed testimony! From what I have heard, their harvest festival of Thanksgiving was in accordance with the Hebrew festival of Sukkot (Tabernacles), in late September/ early October.

Isaiah 43:16-19 English Standard Version (ESV)
Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea, a path in the mighty waters, who brings forth chariot and horse, army and warrior; they lie down, they cannot rise, they are extinguished, quenched like a wick: “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
We, or at least I, have totally underestimated God's power to do a totally new thing.
