I'm having a difficult time resisting the magnetic attraction I I have towards needing to know what type of panties ladies are wearing.

It's just the devil. He is making you feel an illusion that that attraction is real. It can only be a temporary illusion because he only has limited resources (unlike the TRUTH of Christ Jesus, that is unlimited and eternal and must win out in the end.)
If you hold off the temptation just temporarily - pick up the Word of God and read, e.g. 1 John. It's a time thing. You hold it off for a little more time. Keep holding. Then suddenly the bubble bursts and the fever breaks. It must burst because its just a bubble - a trick. And you realise 'wow, what was I thinking'. Now I remember what's important!'
I busted yesterday brother, and it wasn't pretty. Believe me, you don't want to do that. Hold it off a little while longer and the bubble will burst and the temptation will flee from you and you will be so glad you overcame, the blessings will flood to you. Rely on Christ

You can do this, Ric. Don't give up.
Make a list of reasons of why you wanted to stop this in the first place. You don't want to go back to that fantasy world.
We've still got more chapters to work on in the Surfing for God book. I've been a bit busy. But I'll get back to it. I think we're both on chapter 6.

Keep working on your relationship with God. That is the most important thing on your journey. As your relationship grows, your overcoming will happen. Keep your armor on anday stay vigilant.

I went kayaking last year and to get back I had to paddle against the wind . The problem was every time I stop paddling the wind would blow me backwards. That's the way it is with PA recovery; if I'm not striving to go forward, I'm going backwards. I just need to keep reminding myself it worth the struggle

It is worth the struggle. Even when we get blown backwards we never get blown all the way back to where we started. It may take some will power to start paddling again but look back and see how far you have come.
God gives us the strength to keep paddling.

Hey Rical,
know what you mean about paddling! But here's a story from surfing. The current is so strong that you paddle and paddle and paddle as hard as you can, and you're not getting anywhere! And you think 'this is crazy, I can't paddle any harder and I'm not getting anywhere, I might as well give up and go back in to the beach because I don't have the strength to get out past this break...
That's your logic speaking.
But THEN, the current CHANGES. And what you find is, there is a swell or current that allows you a window to paddle out through the wave, just making it through at that point in time before the next set comes through again. Then you are out past the break and you can stop and have a rest. And you look back and think 'wow I was not getting anywhere paddling there. But in fact I WAS getting somewhere, I was paddling to stay in the same spot. And if I had not stayed in that spot, I would not have been in the right place to be carried out here by the current when it changed. I would have still been stuck inside. But because I paddled so hard, I maintained my position and although it seemed like I was getting nowhere, I was weathering the strongest part of the current trying to push me back in, so that when it changed I was swept out here with it past the waves. Hallelujah!!
You may not THINK you are achieving much by staying in the same spot, but you are. When God changes the current, all that effort will have put you in the right place to be swept to victory in Christ Jesus!

I wonder if my husband feels this way in the process of gaining my trust back. He keeps on trying and doing the right thing, but I just can't trust that it's "for real" this time. But I beleive as long as he keeps trying, while he's "not getting anywhere", actually the currents of my heart are slowly swelling until it hits breaking point and I can finally trust him again. Man, I hope he'll be patient and not give up this time.

I can't speak for your husband but in my case it is pure bondage and not believing I've been truly sent free. I've said this before, my wife is as perfect as a wife could be. She takes care of herself physically, emotionally and spiritually. She would love nothing more than to be there for us sexual but between the P in my life and in her past she has in a lot of ways shut down. What I need from her is to not take what I do personally but to pray and help keep watch for me without judging while also keeping me accountable. I pray God will give you the strength to do this for your husband

I haven't seen many posts from guys lately, I hope there doing better than me. I've backsliden on voyeurism. I haven't gone to the mall( summer time, short skirts) but that is the next step. I've messing around the edges of news sites and Facebook . I just need to remember the Bible definition on P and idolatry and not the worlds. old habits die hard, but they do die.

Things seem to go in cycles here as far as posting goes. I actually pray more when things get quiet around here. It seems that when people pull away or get busy that is when they get hit.
Stay in prayer and scripture rical. Use your accountability structure and good coping skills you have developed. You got this with the Lord's help.
