I am glad today is about over. Very happy to be able to keep some food down...started getting sick last night. I am glad that God is in my life. I really need His strength, love, forgiveness and grace. I am praying that tomorrow will be better.

I have an appointment with a hematology/oncology specialist on the 18th. They will be checking me for blood disorders/cancers.

Thank you Steve. I do claim God's healing power through Christ. I am a walking miracle. I have been healed of high blood pressure, high cholesterol, insulin dependent diabetes, polycystic ovarian disease, and insulin resistance. It took some time for me to walk out and work up my faith for those healings but I persevered and God was faithful as always! Man did Satan hit me hard with trying to get me to doubt but he didn't win...and he won't win this time either. I will never doubt God's goodness, forgiveness, love, Grace and healing power. I have talked to God about this health thing with me and I asked Him "Am I done? Is it time for me to come home?" My answer was "No." And He reminded me of my cousin Kelly. She just recently passed away from cancer. You know how long the doctors gave her...a few months. She fought cancer for almost 25 years and had 2 more children that she raised into adulthood. She had 5 girls altogether. what I am getting at is this...no matter what I will not be going home until God says I have finished my race. I will continue to thumb my nose at Satan because my God is bigger.

Steve I am sorry for your loss. It does hurt to lose people you care about. I am just glad for the good memories I have and the knowledge that I will be reunited with them in heaven. Kelly was a strong, faithful and loving Christian. She had a zest for life and didn't take anything for granted. I am so thankful that God put her in my life.

People in comas do know what is going on around them. They do hear and feel touch. I am so glad you got to say goodbye to him and witness the miracle of him responding to you in his coma.
I am blessed to be going to counseling today even though it is hard. God blessed me yesterday with enough energy to spend some time with my sister. We went to lunch and a local clothes shop. I had fun but did get tired at the end. I will also be spending the morning with my brother today. We are looking at getting a new-to-us family car.

I'm so sorry for your losses ya'll.
Amy, I'll pray for your health and that God will give the docs wisdom.
I had to break four bones in six weeks for find out what caused my migraines and fibromyalgia and at the time, I kept asking, "how could God do this to me?" It was summer here and I didn't get to swim with the kids. Now that I'm gluten free, I am so glad I went through that.
We start our insurance on Sept. 1st and I'm going to go to an allergist to see if there are still some food issues or pollen issues I need to deal with. The past week has been hard on all of us b/c of the pollen/mold. Richmond is on the top 10 cities for pollen. It will get so bad, that green pollen dust will coat the cars and we'll have to rinse them off.
I am thankful my hubby is finally taking sobriety seriously.
Also, my oldest is really starting to open up with me about her struggles. She said she hasn't cut herself for three months. Praise God! She's also letting herself live a little in terms of her diet. She has struggled with an eating disorder for at least 2 years that I know of (anorexia and binging and purging) and she said last night that she is not sticking to a strict vegan diet which had me a little worried.
Eating Disorders are the number one killers of mental disorders even over suicide which she spent one week in the psych ward for last year.

Thank you for the prayers. HS3 I will keep your daughter in my prayers. I thank God with you that she isn't cutting and lightening up on her diet. Yes eating disorders are the number one killer for those with mental health issues.
Steve, God is good! I am happy and praising God for answered prayers for you. I not only pray for your sobriety but also that God will guide, teach and draw you closer to Him. He is doing that. The more you know about the enemy the better prepared you will be.
Well we got a car. I am so thankful and blessed by that. It's a 2009 Cadillac CTS with 111,000 miles on it. The mileage is high but the previous owner used it to drive back and forth to Phoenix. Any way we got a great deal on it.
I was able to go to bible study last night which is always a blessing. I love my little church family! To spend time studying the bible with fellow believers is such a blessing and the fellowshiping after is so welcome. It fills and recharges my spiritual batteries like nothing else does. Yes we need alone time with God but we also need to gather together with others. The only downside was that I was so tired that I couldn't think of words I wanted to say to get my points across.

Thank You ladies Today I am thankful for that precious commodity called 'Freedom of Speech' - the right to express an opinion or point of view without repercussions.

Virginia is a very wooded state therefore the trees give off a lot of pollen. Then, if it rains, the pollen will go down, but the mold spores will go up lol.
Once I find out what I'm fighting, I'll try to take supplements and OTC stuff before I do allergy shots.
One of my piano moms put had her son taking pollen and locally grown raw organic honey to help build up a tolerance to tree pollen before it hit.
So I've been doing that. I just need to know for sure what I'm allergic to.
Amy, Glad ya'll found a car.
Thanks for praying for my daughter.
Last night she decided to test the boundaries and have a boy in her bedroom. Uh ugh, no freakin' way! I told them since it was raining they could sit in the car. However, the rule stands, no boyfriends in the bedroom. And the same goes for my two youngest when they start dating.
