What are you talking about Amy? Didn't you know that that is normal to have so many attacks coming from all directions at all times and there are only a few things that can make it easier to control. Now I'm not sure how long this site has been up and running, but I can tell you this; it is only going to be worse unless certain things are in place to help the moderator or moderators.
(By the way, my Grammarly corrects all my responses for spelling and language usage.) Otherwise, you would probably scratch your head wandering about what is being said. Ha, Ha, Ha. I've been there, and am still there for several groups. Virgil

Yes I realize that attacks are normal. We do have it setup that you need to apply so I head most of them off before they have access. It's just the screen names, email addresses and messages asking for access. I have to be prayed up before and afterward I have to be washed clean.

All we need is Jesus. Have you noticed that the people that Christ helped were desperate? They did things only desperate people would do. Like when the friends of the paralytic tore apart the roof to get their friend to Jesus. Or when the woman with the issue of blood came into town and pushed her way through the crowd to touch Jesus's hem. These people were considered unclean and sinful. They were ostracized. Not allowed into regular society.
If we desperately seek Him, He will show up, cleanse us of our sins and heal what is broken in us.

Bankruptcy court was today. It went well. I prayed for the trustee that he would wake up in a good mood and be blessed today. It worked...He was down right jovial! Praise God!
There were also a few accidents that slowed traffic to a crawl so I got the opportunity to pray for all those involved. Thank goodness the Lord gave me the foresight to leave early. I arrived on time. Thank you Jesus!

Well I was supposed to have surgery today. My ride fell through and I had to cancel. Nothing more irritating then to have to cancel 3 hours before you are supposed to be there. I have issues with trusting, relying on and needing others and when they aren't there... Talk about my anger rearing its ugly head.
Atleast I didn't say anything that I would have to apologize for...that is huge progress for me. I still have a long way to go to having peace in these situations.

So sorry. Yes, I too would have been pretty mad. Thankful God helped you control it. Uber responds pretty fast, but it would have cost money. Praying that God will provide.

There isn't Uber in this area. There might be in Omaha but that would be really expensive to have them drive an hour to come get and then drive an hour to drop me off.

Wow that's annoying. Have to ask, who was your ride? Are you able to reschedule the surgery?

My ride was my 2 sisters. I haven't rescheduled. Think I will wait until after winter. And I may go with a surgeon that is closer so that way if my ride bails on me again, I will have the ability to find a ride on short notice.
It snowed yesterday....Talk about early! It was pretty and I am thankful I don't have to shovel this year.

I am struggling... Mom wanted me to take her to see my brother. My brother had sent back the letter she wrote without opening it and messaged her on Facebook that she no longer had a son a few months ago. She wanted to just show up on his doorstep. I want nothing to do with him because he hasn't changed...still drinking and blaming everyone else but him. My sisters talked her into sending him a text but we didn't have his number. So she called my auntie. Auntie informed her that she had gotten the same treatment from him so she sent a letter to him while she was in another state. He didn't know who it was from and opened it. He wrote her back and told her he wasn't that drunk and remembered everything that happened that day. That he didn't behave that bad and we just tossed him out. He also told her he would pay her back and then didn't want to ever hear from her or mom again.
I told mom after hearing this that I would not take her to see him. That there was no way I was going to let him back into my life. That if she wanted to see him, she would have to find someone else to take her. I also told her he was not welcome here. I am not going to subject myself to his abuse again. She then said I needed to forgive him and all that drivel that goes along with the touchy feely junk that is prevalent in today's society. I get so tired of explaining to her that forgiving someone doesn't mean giving them an in back into your life.
So now I am feeling condemned about forgiveness and also angry because my brother admitted to remembering everything. His remembering means that him threatening me and taking his marijuana and mixing it in with my pills was thought out. He deliberately tried to scare me and ruin my life.
I am tired of hurting and being hurt.

I am praying that God would give you the strength to get through today and that He’d give you relief from the family drama. *HUGS*

Galatians 5
16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever[c] you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

Sunday I got a miracle. I had a short leg. The doctors tried orthodics and the latest attempt was a heel lift. Neither worked. Sunday after church I went over to my sister's and was telling her about the heel lift and how it caused so much pain I couldn't walk. She wanted to see my legs...I lifted them up. 1/2 an inch short on my right leg. She held my ankles and started praying. My right leg lengthened! I went to my chiro this morning. He has no explanation for it. My muscles were so tight he had to work on them for several minutes to be able to adjust my lower back and hip. So the lengthening wasn't from my muscles relaxing and my legs were even when he checked them before starting on my muscles. God is good!
