Thanks bro. Yes it's been a bad month or so for me. Looking back this time of year for some reason is always difficult to get through and have stumbled at this point in the year for the last few years. Feel like my job now is to make sure this year is at least better than previous years.

Always focus on the Lord. He will get you through. Remind Him of His promises in His word because His word never returns void and He diligently watches over His word to perform it. In other words, read your bible and speak the scripture to yourself.

We have to de-program by replacing that thought by a new thought. We can challenge the lustful thought with "no, I am told to live holy" because it is written "Be holy for I am holy" God said. and keep doing it. a new lustful thought arrives in our brain, then we quickly have to believe and say "No, because it is written "Thou shalt not commit adultery" and "No, for it is written, "flee youthful lusts". When you read Proverbs 5-7 you can see how we are like the dumb man who lurks at the wild women's house. It's not that we are so innocent that we slip, but more like we want to fall and we do it, rejecting God, and serving the creature (See Romans 1 on God's wrath on human sin). We serve the creature (the penis/vagina/body) and not God. We make sex an idol and become idolators. God says No idolater will inherit the Kingdom of God. You have to want to be saved really bad and be real and genuine about your salvation and not throw your confession away. This is how I battle my own sex addition.

Thanks guys! Have had a better time this weekend. Wonderful Christian fellowship and preaching, good prayer time with one of the elders. His sermon was about Caleb and Joshua believing they could overcome the giants. He said 'the issue is never what stands in front of you, the issue is always your Faith'. And 'life is not time, life is a person'. Really spoke to me and blessed me : )

Dear Lord, please encourage my brother Will right now. Help him to be strong again. Please protect him, don't let discouragement pull him down. Guide him to the promises in your Word that will lift him up. Thank you Jesus for hearing our cry to You!!!!

Looked at images. Back to square one. I understand how you feel. Just driving to work today, my eyes see a jogger far away so I quickly turned away. As I drove past, the temptation was stronger and lying to me to look but that would mean intoxication which to me is lust and like adultery. Earlier this month, just thoughts of work conversations because intoxications and I admit it became a lust and I had to confess it. It wasn’t like I was trying to entertain myself but allowing those thoughts to keep going on, outside of a work-like fashion became too personal and even that was a hint of sexual immorality. This is lust to me. Even I have technical sobriety but sin inside the heart it’s lust to me. This is my daily battle. I don’t go easy on me and say, well the Lord forgives, I mean, Yes, the Lord forgives but we have to confess and forsake and have the Godly sorrow and God knows if we are real or just playing games. I’m talking about myself.

Wow this also happened same time last year! God bless you all and thanks for your prayers : ) Praying for you right back! Keep seeking Jesus. He is the only one to help you. Lust and adultery will take you to hell. Matt 5:27-30. Jesus is not willing you go there. Got to take this seriously and get offline and detox while wholeheartedly seeking God, with prayer, confessions, crying out to God in godly sorrow, and confessions idolatry and bitterness and hatred and everything the Lord will show you, then keep waking after Jesus. Give your money to your family to hold. Don’t use online unless someone is there to keep you accountable. This is how I do it and I am already 4 years clean. You can do it too. God gave me help.
