If you keep falling onto porn and masterbation You need to change something. Get off the internet. Read Matthew 5:27-30

You may be right Dominic, although I'm not on the Internet anymore. I got rid of all my social media, and also all my unnecessary Internet stuff a few months ago. I do not own a phone myself either. So that really isn't an issue for me.
What really needs to change is my attitude about PN and MB, as well as my attitude toward this stuggle against sin. The Bible says to renew your mind constantly. So a change I make right now will not stay changed if I fail to "renew my mind". I have to stay in God's Word 24/7 so that I KNOW with my mind and my heart what truth is. So that I know what God thinks about sin, (and list specifically). I believe the reason I fall into sin so easily is because I fail to stay in God's Word, and I fail to pray enough, and I fail to renew my mind CONSTANTLY. It's a process, and right now I'm learning how to do all of that better and more. I still stumble, but I'm learning, and growing to a place where I fall less and less.
So there are physical changes I can make in my life, but what ultimately makes the biggest impact (at least for me), are spiritual changes. "10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people."--Ephesians 6:10-18

If you fall into porn and masterbstion then one way to cut off is to get offline completely. If you keep falling into this adulterous sin it could also be that you are not saved either. I say in love to read Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV bible.com/bible/114/mat.7.21-23.NKJVIt goes on to say this Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. I Corinthians 6:9-10 NKJV bible.com/bible/114/1co.6.9-10.NKJVSo you also have to think about this. Focus on spiritual warfare yes. Ephesians 6 10-18 which is what Christians are called to do. I am not disagreeing with you here. What I am simply saying is that if you keep falling (from your last post you did) then you need to examine yourself to see if you are a true believer. Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified. II Corinthians 13:5 NKJV bible.com/bible/114/2co.13.5.NKJVLook at the book of 1st John all 5 chapters and see if these are a reality in your life.

I wasn't saying that I got rid of all my Internet stuff. (I do still have some things on the Internet that I have to keep.). I was just saying that I got rid of all the stuff that I was on constantly, and the stuff that was hindering me. Plus, getting rid of ALL of my Internet related things wouldn't solve much, because I'm still surrounded by Internet connected devices. I say all of this not to disregard what you were saying, I'm just explaining my situation.
As for examining my salvation, I know that I am saved. That is not something I doubt in the slightest. I may stumble, I may sin. But I know that my eternity is secure in Heaven. Again; not disregarding what your saying. I believe it is great to examine ourselves, even if we are saved, and obviously my life choices need to change (and are changing). Im just saying that I know I am saved, and nothing can take my salvation away. But I appreciate what you're saying.
Today has went well. I've been reading through Ephesians, and it is really good. God has been speaking to me a lot; through His Word and through other people. It's encouraging to know that God doesn't stop working in me, even when I mess up. God is unchanging and unshakeable amidst our own storms.
Thank you all for your prayers!

Just checking up again. Yesterday and today went well. I haven't stumbled, by the grace of God. I recently wrote down some boundaries that I can't let myself cross. Things that aren't wrong, sinful, or bad. Just things that have ended up leading me into sinful situations, even in the smallest of ways. I'm not going to pretend that I can keep from crossing those boundaries forever, but I shall continue to pray that God reinforces those things in my mind and heart. Dominic; you challenging me to change is what led me to make those boundaries, (you and God working through you). So thanks! Thank you all for your prayer! I love you guys, and I'm praying for you!

Noah, Praise God. Keep reading the Bible everyday, seeking God, learning what it means to be a real disciple of Jesus Christ. Why else did Jesus talk so much about Discipleship? Because we need it. Jesus chose the disciples because Jesus wanted to be with them. Jesus wants to be with you. With all of us. Jesus can give you victory over this sin. But we must submit to His Lordship. This is the real matter.
Dear Jesus please help Noah and the rest of us to rely on you. Please help Noah and us. We ask in Jesus name. Amen.

Hey Noah I am so joyful that you have made boundaries for yourself! All of us have had to do that and we have to stick to those boundaries. I still have boundaries for myself. Boundaries are actually freeing and not restrictive. They show that you are beginning to love and respect yourself and God.
High five! I am praying for you.

Thanks Amy and Dominic!
Sorry for not posting sooner guys. The past few days have been fairly busy. Things have been going well. Satan has been throwing a lot at me, but I know that he has no power over me, except what I give to him. I can choose to deny the temptation and follow God, because God has already freed me from my sin. 🙂
Thanks for the prayers guys! Still praying for you guys! 😁

Hey guys! Sorry (again) for checking up so late. All is well! Thanks for praying for me. 🙂
God has been showing me a lot these past few days. It's really encouraging to see how God works in perfect timing and ways. When I'm hurting; God comes through right when I need it. 😀
Thank you for recommending that Dominic! I need all the help I can get. 🙂 I'll be sure to look into it!
Well, I can't say I'll post again soon. My family and I are going be traveling in a few days, and we'll be gone for almost a month. I'll try to get on BG, but I can't be sure if I'll be able to, depending on what we're doing on our trip and if I'll have the time. Buy I shall try nonetheless.
Thank you all!

Have fun on your trip! Don't forget to keep your focus on God during your travels. It's easy to get distracted during vactions.

Hey guys, checking up for today! These past few days have been going well, but today I slipped up. I think that may be because I neglected reading my Bible like I do every morning. It's so easy to brush that off and say I'll read later, but EVERY time I have not read my Bible, I have given in to the temptation. Please pray that I stay in God's Word, not only daily, but constantly. Other than today's slip up, life has been good. Crazy, but good. We have about four extra people living in our house, right before our vacation. So things are pretty hectic, but it's not terrible. Thank you all for your prayers!

Noah, just confess your adultery to God. Have the mindset to never do it again. Remember not to use God's grace as a license to sin. Don't think, "God will forgive me so it's ok to commit adultery this time"
If you keep falling into adultery you have to seek God to see if you are really saved. One of the marks of a True Christian is the power over sin.
So you have to ask, Am I even a real Christian? Don't think that you believe God and are saved, yet you commit adultery. The fact thst you commit adultery is evidence thst something is terribly wrong with your Christianity.
If Jesus is Lord, he owns you, and you need to submit. If you are owned by Christ, he will discipline you. If Jesus does not discipline you, you are not His.
(KJV) Hebrews 12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
