Doc put me on 3 months of antibiotics for my intestines.
I have no patience with liars and people that don't their jobs. I don't understand why...usually I am better about this stuff. I have been emotional lately too.
I have real difficult time seeing God as a father. I have nothing to go by. I think this might be my problem with not having patience and being emotional. Not sure what to do about this...how do you fix that?

Hello Amy, I understand what your saying. Our image of father might be hard ...but God is the Ultimate and Good and Powerful God, who give us (His children) good things. I have a book called "Christian Worker's Handbook" by Billy Graham and many different topics. I'll send it to you.
Dear God, please help Amy to understand you and know you better. In Jesus' name. Amen.
Luke 11:13 (ESV) If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"

My dad passed when I was very small, but thanks to my Mom, I came to know and love him through her descriptions of him! And thanks to her taking me faithfully to church, I had many examples of manhood.
Loving that Scripture Dominic quoted. If a child asks his father for a fish, he would never give him a snake. So then the comparison goes past material things to asking our heavenly Father to give us the Holy Spirit... that is, the gift of Himself, He who is One with the Father.

Hi folks, been a long time! This is the first thread I've looked at so thought would say hi. Wow that is a wonderful thought Savedbygrace, that the Holy Spirit is the best gift, and Our Father knows how to give it to us and when. Beyond the amazing feeling of peace and fearlessness and rest when I was first born again, I'm not sure I've received the Holy Spirit, but I would like to, and very much like to know that I've received it

Hey Amy,
just read over your last few month's posts. You have been through a lot! Glad to hear your wrists are healing. It is a difficult situation though. Think we've talked about this before but it seems like there have been few responsible males around for you.

I have given up on finding one. I know they are out there but I don't trust my ability to discern one. I certainly don't have a good track record in that area. I am too broken. As far as the Holy Spirit goes...when you accepted Christ as your savior, the Holy Spirit came to live inside of you. It's up to you to give Him room to move and work in and through you. All you have to do is ask Him.

Hi Amy, thanks yes you're right! Lol about the responsible males. Yes it's tragic. There is a lot of that here in Sydney, a lot of 'man-babies' who won't take responsibility for themselves. I feel for women because there is not much they can do about it if men won't step up to the plate.

I feel for women because there is not much they can do about it if men won't step up to the plate. I think a lot of the fault lies with society for creating non-responsible men. Every time a strong man steps up and speaks out, he gets lambasted and drag over the coals of the SJW mindset. I don't envy strong men in this day. Heck me speaking up in solidarity with strong men and the family unit, gets me the same treatment. And it's about impossible to raise a strong young man in the public schools because they infest their sjw ideology into boys as soon as they get their hands on them. With so many young men growing up in single parent household run by a woman, they never to see or learn from their fathers. It really is sad. We need to be praying for our men. There is so much warfare going on against them. Satan is pulling all the stops out to destroy our men and their place in the family and society.

I have been praying for him. They way they fired him and then shut down his go fund me to raise money for legal fees to fight his unjust treatment was awful. I haven't been sleeping much at all. Kind of hard to sleep when you are having diarrhea all night. I am so close to just not eating ever again and speeding up the process of what my body is trying to do to me. I need prayer.

My surgeon is going to revise my surgery. He says that this will take care of my issues since the antibiotics aren't working. The surgery is scheduled for the 24th. I will be in the hospital for 5 days. The Lord has granted my 2 days of uninterrupted sleep so my outlook is much improved. Thank you Jesus! I don't know if any of you have mental health issues but, for me the lack of sleep causes mine to act up.
Please keep me in your prayers for a good outcome with the surgery.

That is good to hear Amy.
Dear Jesus, thank you for giving Amy sleep. Please give the surgeon wisdom in how to help Amy. Please give Amy comfort in You Jesus. In Jesus' name we oray Amen.
I will keep praying for a good surgery on the 28th (29th here in Japan) and your days to recover after.
Yes, I have mental health issues. Dr. diagnosed me with general anxiety disorder and OCD, where I fear of germs, airplanes, wash hands frequently, kids hands.
It is getting better with some counseling but got too expensive so I stopped. I just take Lexapro 20mg daily from the Dr. It makes me sleepy. Takes the edge off a little bit. Kids still get fevers and sometimes I have to get in the airplane but it's ok
