First, an introduction. I struggled with a rather severe sexual addiction for over 10 years; and have been living a healthy, spiritual life now for over 17 years. Over the past five years, I have managed a fairly large, active sex, love and porn addiction recovery ministry (www.recoverynation.com) that lists over 50% of its base as Christians. On the site, there are two comprehensive workshops (one for those in recovery; one for the partners--both offered free as part of the mission of the site) but neither are geared specifically for Christians. I would like this to change. I am looking for one, two...or ten people who are well versed in Christian doctrine to supplement the existing workshops with Biblical references. Preferably, you would already be stable in your own recovery/healing process and have at least a fundamental understanding of recovery and health.
This will not be an easy job and will likely take months (for one person) to accomplish. The workshops themselves took me over a year each. When complete, the Christian Workshop will be offered free to both communities (RecoveryNation and here).
We are a non-profit ministry and so you really need to believe in the mission if you are to derive value from it. If you are interested, please let me know.
