I'm reading through "Breaking Free" by Russell Willingham for a second time. I highly recommend this book for those seeking freedom from sexual addiction. Willingham really does a great job of getting into the "nitty gritty" of the addiction and has a well-balanced view about the emotional, spiritual and practical aspects of recovery.
Has anyone else read it? Any comments?

I read through Chapter 9 titled, "The Courage To Be Broken." It was very helpful and challenging to me! How often do you live your life as a "together" Christian, when the reality is you're in denial about the brokeness and powerlessness you have over your life? To be honest, my answer to that question is: Often!Best wishes to all today. Stay free!-Steve

Never read it, that's exactly the issue I'm dealing with in myself - facing the fear of accepting my own brokeness... I guess I could find it on Amazon.com. Thanks for the reference.

facing the fear of accepting my own brokeness... I am challenged on so many levels in life, but I think the matter of accepting my brokeness and joyfully taking my hurts/wounds/cares to God is something I have only "scratched the surface" of fully embracing. Just curious, did you ever obtain the book? It really is a good one, IMO. -Steve

I'm going have to put this one on the list. This is one of the main areas I struggle (and always have in every part of my walk...) Thinking I know what's better for me than the King of the Universe... Thanks! Art
