Questions to ask (leader also is asked)
Hiding the truth doesn't heal shame and it keep the group in shallow mediocrity. Sharing from the heart blesses others and opens the door to friendship.
After he is sharing, other group members can make comments, offer encouragement or ask questions.
Examples of "well-directed questions:
On a scale of 1 - 10 to what level he's accepted the grace of God in his heart.
if answer is low, ask "In your upbringing, how was your relationship with your father?"
The attitudes of grace
Having a graceful attitude and approach doesn't mean to ignore or deny what Jesus clearly says either.
If a man is attending the group meeting week after week with the same struggle, ask him the difficult questions in a gentle way.
Examples:
Prayer:
Ask the group for prayer requests
Pray for others with the specific issues and struggles from this meeting
If someone shared that they have difficulty in receiving the grace of God, ask the Lord to reveal the lies in their heart that is blocking the grace of God.
If someone shared that they have issues of abuse, ask God for his leading and healing in this specific area, also do the same for their marriage problems and work problems as well.
- How have you done since the last meeting with s-xual temptation?
- How did you act out?
- Was m-sturbation or p-rn involved?
- How long it went on?

- Has he taken enough steps to eradicate the stumbling blocks of lust from his life?
- Is he truly seeking God?
- Is he reaching out to group members during the week when temptations hit?
- Is he expecting God to "take it all away" without doing his part?
Prayer:
Ask the group for prayer requests
Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is very powerful in its effect.
