Hey folks
As part of of the healing journey that I am walking through in my marriage, I have come across a great resource. The book is by Drs Gary and Greg Smalley and it is titled "How to win your wife back before its too late!" With the subtitle "Whether she has left physically or emotionally its never too late". The book is pretty broad in its scope of why there might be marriage breakdown but considering the first story is about a wife driving to the her husbands office to find out that her "working late" husband is actually carrying on an affair with a coworker - they dont pull punches as to why the marriage might be in trouble. It is not an easy read if you read it honestly and asking the Lord specifically what he has for you from the tips and techniques, but well worth taking the time.

Well my friend, they also came on video awhile back, so you probably can still get them. You could also get a copy of "Fire Proof" which is about our roles as a husband.
One other thing, the wives need to deal with their role and clean up their act as well. God does not hold any punches back when it comes to how and why we are to treat our spouses, nor does He leave us with any wiggle room to come up with any excuses and that my friend is why a marriage is a, "Covenant" and not a contract. Marriage is for life even if we made a poor choice for a spouse we took a vow before God: "to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part."
There is a lot more that can be said, I'll leave it for another time. No matter how we wash it, it is a choice if we are walking in the flesh, but not if we are Christians. Blessings
Virgil

Hey guys, "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" by John Grey "For men only/ For women only/ For Couples only" by Shaunti Feldhawn + this sermon by Steven L 'Rant'erson (I know he's an idiot but he states some really good things here that a lot of people don't say):
(don't know how to embed this, it's on wistia)
