It's almost time for our middle son to move out (after a stay of several months), and the level of hatred and disrespect for me as Dad is becoming unbearable.
I could go on with details, but would appreciate prayer for great wisdom and patience for myself, wisdom for my wife (she's the "good" parent with whom he can talk), and for him to find God's help for his own life.

Jesus, you know the situation and you know the relationship. Bring your peace into these. Shine your love, peace and wisdom into this relationship. Give saved the strength to follow your leading in his role as father and head of his family. Heal the divide that has occurred. Amen.

LOL!
He's 42, and some years ago through a hurtful divorce. 2 grandsons from him and his wife. Sad situation.
Doesn't really want our counsel, or anyone else's it seems.
We pray for him and try to be supportive.

No wonder you are butting heads. He is used to his own ways. It's time for him to move out especially if he can't show respect.
