We had a series done in our men's group at church dealing with sexual addiction and pornography. Over 100 men showed up the first night and now 2 years later we are down to a small group of four men in a recovery program. So sad, so disappointing considering the statistics of P use in the church and yet so many men don't want to face their demons.

It takes great courage to admit to your weaknesses and sin and to hand over your entire self to Our Lord. It can be a daily battle not to try and hide some of ourselves from God...which is actually funny when you think about...we can't hide anything from God so why try?
I admire and have great respect for the men and women on this forum. They open themselves up, admit to their weaknesses, seek God, support each other and pray for each other. I see God working in and through everyone here and it gives me great joy.

So sad, so disappointing considering the statistics of P use in the church and yet so many men don't want to face their demons. I have often wondered if they were even saved in the first place. I have been asking myself that questions when I was in bondage. God has given me years of sobriety now. Lust is a struggle. The Bible says that those who are more spiritual gently guide them back.
