I've read the main part of this book before, and need to go through it again to plant its truths in my mind. Much of it revolves around our spiritual armor in Ephesians chapter 6. Powerful things God has given us!

Pastor Evans loves to use illustrations from football, and following that model, this came to my mind.....
All the action occurs in "plays." They can be routine, easy, or extremely difficult, but my focus must be totally on the play that I'm in at this moment..... NOT worrying about the next one, or regretting how I messed up in the last one. Right here and now is where the action is.
For example, say I have some time alone, and could be tempted to look at lustful stuff, and say I start to worry about What if this time period were much longer.... Could I make it?
Satan's agenda: Why not just give in, you know you could never make it in that case. LIAR!!! Get out of here devil, JESUS is with now!
