I've had BDSM fantasies from early childhood and have been trapped into it since. It has been a nightmare. Praise God, by his grace he set me free 4 months ago. This has been a huge breakthrough for me but very isolating as no one knows.
God answered my prayers and each time I had a thirst for BDSM when I was down, praying to God filled me with euphoria and this is how I stayed away from this sin, as I was no longer in the mood.
I still have some struggles and unresolved conflicts. I would love to speak to someone with understanding of this. BDSM may be similar to be being gay perhaps, and is a huge part of one's life and having being attracted to what disgusts me, there is damage. I feel that there is no one to talk to online as the Christian community may be unaware or judgmental and anyone into BDSM seems to see it as healthy and a part of one's personality that can't be changed.
Please, please is there a former pro-domme who has been saved by God and renounced thier former life, who may speak to me please? Or does anyone know of one? I would like to speak frankly and candidly not for sexual gratification but to get advice and some support. A pro-domme would know what I will be talking about, in terms of activities, and most probably have an understanding of the drives. I'm now examining the childhood causes and finding it painful and difficult.
This need not take too much time but I believe you are uniquely placed to help a Christian brother. My life is being transformed and there's this huge troubled, secretative area without a single person or resource to help. There's lots for affairs and porn and gay issues.
Please be genuine and sincere and honest as this is a very delicate area. I will be too.
