I usually tell the wives that the consequences need to be specific to their relationships. What works for one wife may not work for another. The boundaries and consequences need to be made known to the addict and they have to be able to be maintained and stuck to.

Don't forget what Mike says about dealing with this part of his addiction & your recovery ( especially during a pregnancy) : "Let’s say that your marriage bed has been quiet for a while. Perhaps you’re pregnant or there has been stress in the marriage. While reasonably frequent marital intercourse is God’s desire, there will be times where a man has to wait on his wife.
