I've found myself immersing myself in the Bible when I get the chance to. I'm curious what others have found in the Word as encouragement. What verses have you used to encourage and support your spouses?

I find that the Psalms are packed with encouragement. I have written many 3x5 cards out that I carry with me daily and I'd say at least 1/3 of them are verses from the Psalms. Isaiah is another book I often go to for strength. Isaiah 61 is my marriage chapter. Ephesians 6 reminds me that I'm in a battle and need to always be on my guard in this world. Romans 8:28-31 to remind me He's on my side. Genesis 50:20 to remind me that He can take a crappie situation and turn it around for our good. There are so many more! I love the Word and all the encouragement it brings. It's so alive to me now. May you be blessed  |
