Below is a prayer request from one of my acquaintances. Her name is Mary.
Hello everyone. Needing some prayers. I have 417.89 days sober today. Yesterday I found out that one of my regular customers who comes into the store where I work approximately 3 to 5 times a day was discovered deceased. Her best friend who is also my coworker is also a recovering alcoholic. Her daughter is a recovering heroin addict who just got released from rehab a couple months ago. Her grandson just got sent here from Texas because neither one of his parents wanted him he's in his teens ,13-14 Maybe. So where am I going with all of this? To the Lord! I am praying very hard for her, her family, myself and my friend. I do not understand Lord why these things have to happen. But I know that I can stay sober today because you are in my life.
