Hi there I'm new to blazing grace~ I've read a lot of the content and listened to many of the radio shows and found it to be very helpful. I'm on this journey as of Aug 22 2013, when I found porn on my husbands phone. It was a devastating shock~ I'd known for most of our, then 30 year marriage, that something was amiss but continued to 'work' at fixing it. I had asked him point blank, many times through out our marriage, if he was into or ever had been into porn but he always assured me he never had. Oct of 2013 I lost a dear friend to cancer and 2 months later my dad passed away as well. Needless to say I was dealing with many levels of loss and trauma and I just crumbled under it all. I'm doing much better now and I'm thankful for how far we have come My husband is a long distance truck driver and my greatest difficultly is this life style. He was home for 10 days, it was an intense but fabulous time, and today he left for a10 day trip. I miss him terribly! That's a good thing! We have come a long way but there's a way to go yet. Thanks for this opportunity to share....

You indicated you'd been married for 30 years when you found the porn and how devastated you were. But then you add that there was indications to problems in your marriage during those 30+ years. One of my problems is you failed to explain what those problems were even though you did indicate that he was confronted about that possibility before. And he always denying it.
My experience as a husband into porn is how much we tend to pull away from our loved one's/wife and the tendency to become very defensive and at times angry when confronted with the sin. In a marriage that has lasted over 30 years, my hat is off to both of you as that is no easy task in this day and age with so much easy divorce even in the church.
You also left us hanging as to his reaction this last time when you found some on his phone and confronted him. You might suggest or at least ask your hubby to join our site here; that is if he's struggling with porn.
Last but not least you and your husband's walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. I do hope you kid's have a Blessed Christmas and New Year. Virgil
