Wow...this month has been hard. So much sickness, sadness, feelings of loneliness and despair. This is just from the men; I haven't talked with the women. Mixed into that is relapses and choices of sin. What is going on. I too am guilty so I will not stand before you and condemn but to confess. I am getting hit hard in so many areas and I feel so alone because truly I am. I have just myself and while many feel this is a blessing (truly it can be) but the writer of Proverbs calls us to have pity on the one who is alone. May God Grant us what we need at the proper time. Get well my brothers get yourself well.

Thursday's Numbers 03-17-16 10 Minutes of Prayer. 1 30 Minutes of Bible Reading. 1 30 Minutes of Song/Video Worship 1 10 Minutes of Praying w/ Spouse or Someone Else Outreach to 3 New People A Day 60 Minutes of Quality Family Time 1 30 Minutes of Housework 1 30 Minutes of Daily Exercise 1 10 Minutes of BG Updates 1 10 Minutes of Daily Check-In w/ Accountability Partner.1 24 hours w/o any relapses. 1 8 points out of 11 Not a bad way to start the day. Listened to some songs while making up both bedrooms this morning. Cleaned the living room and took Mother to play cards and sell some old coins she has been wanting to sell. (Good price). So off to work and hopefully stay cheerful. For the most part work went well. I was able to get a lot organized and put away due to things being slower for "Spring Break". I only became agitated when I was cold and wet from cleaning dishes and equipment. Lust is down but my short fuse attitude is on high. I am trying to listen without offering solutions. So far I've been doing ok in this. Still have a long way to go before it becomes natural or comfortable. Was cool talking and praying last night. Thanks bro.

11 points out of 11....perfect number day. I am happy but sad that I lost my temper today over a co-worker being nonchalant about his work schedule. So I don't really feel like celebrating tonight.

Seems like my attitude is getting the better of me these days. I'm overly sensitive to things that are happening around me. Polite manners seem to be a thing of the past in this instantaneous world we live in. All I ever seem to hear anymore is, "I wants what I wants and I wants it done my way right now!" No more please, may I, would you, thank you or (my personal favorite) much appreciated. People just don't see what they are doing. Now, everyone wants to be respected, but many do very little to show respect or be deserving of respect. It's sad. Really sad. People want to blame everyone else and begin to point fingers. My Grandfathers always said that when you point fingers at people you find out the real truth. One finger wants to blame others, one finger wants to blame God, but the truth is that you have the other three pointing back at you. Three to one odds the problem lies within yourself. Today I've got a lot of anger built up and I am going to let go of some of it, if I may. Besides bad manners and self seeking people, I'm tired of people thinking that their way is what is best for everyone. They offer their opinion and not advice and expect the other person to respond accordingly. Yet they don't act that way themselves. To make matters worse they excuse their behavior by saying "no offense"...hello red flag. You just put man on the offensive. That is how men think. It would be best to keep your views to yourself and let the man work things out by himself. Support him in his search for a solution by not offering a solution of your own. It only makes a man think he is incompetent. No man wants to feel that way. This is my thoughts for today while I'm resting at home.

Spent the entire day with my mom antique shopping. I believe that I only got about five points done on my "Challenge List". However, to see her happy was well worth it.

I have deleted some posts in this thread because of the nature of them. They were geared toward being "in the face" of those on this forum who are trying to heal from this addiction. Please remember that we are here to overcome and heal from the mess this addiction causes in our lives.
