I'm realizing so many men that work with my husband look at P and sexual things are a common discussion. Have any addicts dealt with this and how did you deal with it?
I mean even the other day when I found stuff on my husband's phone and I confronted him, he said my supervisor was telling me about it and to look it up. This just makes me sick.
I wish my husband would stand his ground and say I need you to know I am not interested in these discussions and do not want you to discuss or show me anything of this nature.

Is your husband a Christian? Why would he take part in such behaviour ? It's one thing to look at porn in secret but another to just be one of the boys at work.

He is a christian, however we are not actively in church anymore. When I found something on his phone recently that him and his supervisor were looking at it seems he thought it was no big deal and he said to me oh I forgot about that...it's hard not to think well what else had he thought was ok to look at and just forgot about. He says he is going to tell his supervisor he dosent want to engage in this type of discussion any more.

I posted my response on your other post in regards to this matter. I'm not sure it's illegal to view P at work but it is defibately unethical and often against company policy. If you wanted to you could call the corporate office and file sexual harassment charges yourself. He works for UPS? I know their policy and it is very clear on that sort of behavior. So I'd warn your husband that he better choose a side and quick. But that is just it HE HAS TO CHOOSE. Christian men don't allow unwholesome talk or coarse joking to be present in their lives. Forgive me for being harsh but I'm passionate about the things my Father is passionate about and saying one thing and doing another sends mixed messages to God and everyone else. I'm a sinner (ask anyone) but I take stands and repent as quickly as I can. Hope this sheds some light on the situation.

Back sliding is a nasty business . Hopefully he will respond as the prodigal son did . Sorry you have to go through this. I know how hard it has been on my wife. Don't be afraid to appeal to the soft compassionate part of his heart . It's there somewhere .
