Hi ladies its me Irisaflower back with some news. Kevinskay and I are renewing our vows. I am so glad it has come to this. Last year I wouldn't have thought it would happen to me. We are still dealing with a lot, some things we will probably be dealing with the rest of our lives but we decided to do it together. Nothing is perfect but I can say there was a time that even an anniversary was hard to celebrate because I looked at him and thought within myself; what do I have to celebrate about? I was upset and disappointed I was not sure if we would ever heal from the pain this addiction brought to our lives. For a time I thought he was a liar and took no pride in his word. I feel that my husband is changing so much and I can see him becoming a man of his word. Little by little I am believing in him more and more. I do not exercise full trust in certain areas but I am more free not having to watch his every move. I don't feel I have to mother him. Only if he deviates from the daily plan. He has this list of things he does to help him remain sober. I agree it works so when he stops I get nervous. Right now he has been faithful somewhat to this plan. Good enough that I am not worried. I would still appreciate prayers for the vow renewal that God provides since we are in a small budget. Also that Kevin doesn't deviate from his plan. Since it brings him closer to God. Please pray for me too, I am still healing from the surgeries. Thanks.

Congratulations to the two of you. You both have persevered through many days of ups and downs in your marriage. I'm glad that God has changed both of your hearts over time and that He has brought you to this decision. Hope that day and all those going forward bring you much joy and happiness as you walk through this life side by side as husband and wife. (My little wedding toast per say)

I just wanted to say I am happy for both of you, and encouraged by where you both are in your journey. Praying for you both just now.
