So how are all things Christmas going for you all? I got Colby's blanket done so I am all set. Our cat Daphnie has made it halfway up the tree and she loves the sparkly snowflake ornaments. lol it is so fun to have a cat in the house again! I am in the process of making jams for Christmas presents...Orange marmalade, Apple crannberry butter, and strawberry peach jam. I got a card from John so was able to send one to him. I don't think he thought that through very well because I now know where he lives and if he decides to leave us, I will be able to hunt him down!

We made our gifts this Christmas... We canned sweet jalapeños, sweet pickles, strawberry jam, made home made laundry soap, and I made homemade coconut oil facial scrub. We had enough gifts for over thirty people this year. ❤️

Love handcrafted gifts! They mean so much because of the time and effort put into them. I am a crafter. I do have a thread in the Other Topics Forum called Crafters Corner, you should check it out Curly.

To all of us "mature" (won't say older) members I hope you remember Fred Astair in this Christmas Classic. youtu.be/9jQy_ppY2bI

I finally packaged up my gifts for my oldest daughter who lives in Lexington, KY. I think this may be the first year that she will get her gifts on time. * Curly does the happy dance *

Love the little drummer boy...
We packaged up gifts to send to my brother, sister, mom, and a mutual friend of ours. He's shipping two and I'm shipping two... Today!!! This is a monumental day for me. I've never done Christmas on time before. He really is good for me. :-)
This Saturday, we will spend the day at his parents' ranch. It's tamale making day! Yum!!!

Made hand crafted ornaments with my granddaughters yesterday by melting crayons in plastic balls with a hairdryer and slowly spinning them. Cool looking but hot on the fingertips

We are gearing up for three days with his family. I thought for a day or so that I would be uninvited because of a blow out... but I guess he's not ready to let go of me...
Tonight we will be preparing food for tomorrow's festivities at his cousin's house. The theme is pajama party. I'm super glad to be able to dress comfy!
