And when the Lord wants you to do something and you set out to do it...Satan comes to cause issues. He is working through my mom and sister right now.
I am better this time though. Keeping my anger in check and no condemnation. Trying to stay away from them...to stay focused on the Lord. So I am quarantining in my bedroom.

Great stuff, Amy. That's right, no retaliation. Be a worm, not a snake. Have you read 'Calvary Road' by Roy Hession? Massively recommended. He basically argues that as Christians we must repay evil only with good, and that way the Lord Himself is our avenger, and He fights for us, so we must be meek and loving, overcoming the temptation to lash out. When we do that, the Holy Spirit wins the argument for us, in their hearts. Praise God for your newfound communion with God and blessings!

It's why so many of the Psalms are loved; David felt horrible pressure from his enemies. And constantly re-affirmed the fact that God was fighting his battles for him. Psalm 25 and so many others!

Retaliation...boy do I know that one. So praise the Lord I am growing and changing!
I will keep that book in mind. I am currently reading 5 different books plus the bible. The Lord has me going between books at the moment. Which is not something I ever do.

Do you realize that sin keeps us from being intimate with Our Lord? It keeps us from seeking His presence because we innately know we are filthy and the Lord is pure and holy. Do you realize that Jesus Christ died to nullify and do away with the sin in our lives? Do you realize that by diligently seeking Our Lord those sins fall away? How do we seek Him?
Prayer...not mechanical prayer but actually talking to the Father as Abba God. Being as a little child. Being honest and real and keeping it simple.
Reading the Bible...We have to know Our Father and He has provided a living book full of a living word that tells you who He is.
Running to Him...As Abba Father, He wants us to run to Him for everything. Whether we are in trouble or are full of joy.
Worship...praising Him for all He is and all He has done for us.
Speaking truth...What is the only truth we have? The Bible. Speaking truth to your situation is powerful! Even when it feels like it's a lie, speak truth because it is truth and His word never returns void!

Ok so a couple of praise reports and what else is going on in my life.
This last week I was really sick. I have been packing my wound from my last surgery (which was over a year ago). It got infected badly. Started seeing a wound specialist. He said I would need surgery to fix it. Problem is because of my past surgeries no surgeon in town would do it. They contacted one in Omaha and set up an appointment. Not an hour later that surgeon's office called and cancelled. The infection continued to get worse and it was backing up in my wound. I was to the point of asking my family to take me to the ER in Omaha and I asked the Lord what I should do. He said to me "I got this." My family prayed over me and the fever broke. Then my Pastor prayed over me and the backed up infection started coming out. That was on Tuesday. Wensday during service my Pastor came back to me during worship. She said "my hands are on fire" and laid them on me and I fell. Dropped like a lead brick. Thursday the infection was gone and so was the extra 20 pounds I was carrying in my abdomin from the infection. When I fell, something happened to my ankle. Nothing broken but a lot of tissue and tendon damage but no swelling. The doctor put me in a boot to stabilize my ankle. Said it would take 2 to 4 weeks for it to heal. That was Friday. I was telling it to heal up using scripture. The Lord told me that Pastor needed to lay hands on it because it happened at church. It was so painful putting my sock on this morning that about left it off. Pastor laid hands on me and during service I started to feel pins and needles and my ankle started to pop and twinge. Hour after I got home, I can put my full weight on it and jump! Praise the Lord!
I do still need to have surgery. The Lord said I needed to have it. The surgery is to fix the hernias that are along the wound track. Pastor got the same thing from the Lord about the surgery. Now I can wait for the right surgeon to take my case.
We are getting closer to starting the street evangelism. We will be starting the first weekend in September. I am not sure how much help I will be with surgery needing to be done but I will atleast help get it going.
My belly itches thst deep itch of healing where the infection had built up behind the hernia. Such a wonderful feeling!

Sounds like a lot of pain but with blessings. God is good. Dear Lord, please continue to heal Amy and let her ankle and infections go alway. Please let a good doctor be found to do the surgeries that her body needs. Lord you are in control. You did that no weapon formed against us would prosper so please let your Word be true also in Amy’s healing Jesus. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

I am doing great. The infection is gone and my abdomin continues to shrink. Still no word on a surgeon willing to do surgery so I am standing on the Lord's word for complete healing. I expect to wake up one morning soon and see the hernias gone and the wound completely healed.
We are getting ready to evangelize this weekend. I am excited! We are also starting another bible study on healing. So I am staying busy.

Amen! I'm so thankful what the Lord is doing in your life!
May God use your group as you evangelize, and grant good conversations and open hearts.
