My wife has been experiencing some symptoms of early stage type 2 diabetes. Her blood sugar was close to 300 this morning, not good.
We're going to the hospital today to have it checked out. Please pray for her. Thank you.

KK,
I will be praying. My wife has the same condition. I have learned to know the symptoms of low blood sugar and keep some candies in my pockets and in my car so that as we are out and about and she doesn't have any that she can get a quick sugar blast until we can get home or to someplace for a meal.

Have you considered going on a gluten free diet? I found out I had Celiac's Disease and going off of gluten has helped me lose weight and stop the pain and migraines I've suffered for my whole life.
My husband's cholesterol went down 100 points w/o taking meds.
Dr. Oz said this way of eating helps stave off the big killers: Diabetes, heart diease, high cholesterol and stroke.
We can still eat oats and rice so that helps get some carbs.
How is she doing today?

My wife got her sugar down on her own. We didn't have to go to the hospital. Praise the Lord. She's changed up her diet. It's called the paleo diet. She's missing her sweets. But her sugar has been much better. She's planning to see the doctor tomorrow. Thank you, all, so much for your prayers.
