I'm a Christian who struggles with lust and pornography. God has graced me with a degree of sobriety and serenity, and I have been active in 12-step recovery for about a decade. This forum is an encouragement to me, although it could never be a substitute for my face-to-face accountability in my recovery group. Anyone else here participate in Celebrate Recovery?

My husband was in a support group that was very important, it was not Celebrate Recovery, but he needed the face to face as well. There seem to be several support groups that help us, what others has anyone attended? How did they help?

I occasionally attend SA (Sexaholics Anonymous) meetings... we have a very active group locally. I do prefer the Christ-centered approach of CR. Faith and recovery are two sides of the same coin, don't you think?

Hi bepure... I agree... I know my husband tried other groups in the past, but until the group (as a whole) were believers it was a lost battle. He found the greatest strength and support with brothers.
