I'm a girl. 19 years old. I'm a Christian and have a relationship with Christ. But I feel like I belong in the ashtray...I've never had a boyfriend and I don't have good relationships with the guys and men in my life... I'm lonely. And I'm addicted to porn....I've always been an innocent girl and sex is closed subject in my community...but now it feels like my mind is poisoned and polluted. At first I just read 'stories' on the internet, but then I started to watch pictures...and it's getting worse and worse. I'm to ashamed to talk to my church leaders or friends...I always thought porn was something only men can be addicted to...I don't know what to do. I don't want to fail my life. I don't want to disappoint my parents.

Thank you for sharing… Sex is a closed subject in many communities, so having someone to talk to is not always easy. Women share they also struggle with Porn as well. You are not alone in these battles. Here is an article Mike wrote that might help. www.blazinggrace.org/the-answer/

Hi Yellow Rose.... Just seeing how you are doing? Do you have any plans for this up coming weekend? We have another young lady I chat with from Africa. She has sent some really awesome pictures from her area. Praying all is well.

Hi Africa is beautiful indeed. I was born here after my parents emigrated from the Netherlands.I don't have exciting plans for the weekend, I go to class on Saturdays, studying for a kindergarten teacher  ***I've failed again....and got so mad at myself... I long for the day that the earthly desires won't matter anymore. |

A Teacher that is awesome.. I bet that will be a great career, teaching little ones would be very rewarding. I understand your feelings on earthly desires.. They are tough I battle with desires of the flesh all the time. I know I keep referring to Mike's articles but there is another one that might help regarding "dealing with a slip". Thanks for your replies when I needed it. The Lord led me to a great Christian woman who counselled me. I am free now for a few months. God is merciful and forgiving and loving!
