Dear Mike,

I really appreciate your writing and especially appreciate the article "It's not your fault." Wives can't hear that enough.

I think true forgiveness is out of the question for me. I've come to a certain peace with the whole sordid mess and moved on with my life. I look upon my accomplishments with pride, I love my children, and I look forward to the next 50 years. I am exploring other avenues of spirituality and in some respects, I've never felt so free, so at peace, so at ease. If there is a God, I hope he doles out justice in the end. It's not under my control, so I let it go.
