This book is written by Emma Dawson, a woman who was married to a sex addict for 29 years.
Whereas she approaches this book from the co-dependent perspective, so far, it has been a great read. My kindle says I'm about 60% through the book, so I don't know how it ends, but so far it's read like my life story.
If any wives are questioning their perceptions of reality........questioning if they've been a good and faithful wife........questioning if they really are the source of the problem.......this book is a must read.
Emma details the times when her husbad gaslighted her and/or blamed her directly for his sin. It's chilling. She uses some of the exact same phrases that I've used throughout the years to describe the abuse.
Ladies, we're not crazy. Our perceptions are dead on accurate, we just have to learn to trust that little voice in the back of our heads that says: "GET OUT! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, GET OUT NOW!"
