I'm just wondering how its going. I just signed up here a couple of days ago. They say there aren't many women on this sight, which I am. I am also married, but I find the more my addiction escalates the more I am upset with my husband. I don't act out as you have, not sure if you still do, but I can see where the potential lies. I started checking out Craigs list. I'm just curious. Right.

Has been a while and I thought I was making progress...I feel like I am falling back again in the same temptations. Please pray as I need to be strong.

Nichole,
Gordon has created a video that helps talk individuals down, when they feel like they are slipping: helpforpornaddicts.com/videos/addict-triggered-prevent-a-slip I would strongly recommend watching it. Many have reported that the video helps them to rationally and logically take control. D
Don't give up! You have come a long way.
Addiction is not something you can simply crush, kill and destroy it, even though that is what we all want. You acknowledge that you have a problem not seek some guidance and counseling to help you process everything.

Welcome back!
If you're falling into the same temptations, then maybe it's time not to do the same thing to deal with them. If you're struggling with what you're doing now, then what's the next step in recovery? What tools are out there that have been just slightly too scary to pick up yet? Is it time to pick them up now?
You ask for strength, and that's what we all start out wanting. I spent many years praying for strength. In the end, though, what has made a difference for me is not strength, but rather admitting in a deep way to God, to myself, and to those around me that I am not strong. In the 12-step program, the first step is an admission of powerlessness. That seems crazy, but a lot of people have gotten sober through that path, a path in which the road to victory begins with surrender.
Just how it seems to me.
