Hey, ShadowWolf!
Happy Thanksgiving! The really wonderful thing with knowing God is that even when things seem to be impossible, we have God's promise that in Christ, all things are possible! Pray about it and see how He provides for your need to connect, whether or not you feel like you want to. Sounds like you have many gifts! Just curious, were you home schooled?
Prayerfully,
captivated

Shadow.....have you ever read
" The Purpose-Driven Life: What on Earth Am I Here For? ", by Rick Warren ?
I think it may give you some shapes, and ideas of what God would want in your life. It's very clear what some of my tasks are for me. It's just a matter of taking the initial steps that God has placed on my heart to do.
There are only two books that I highly recomend for any man, especially our age. Those are "Wild at Heart", by John Eldredge and the one I listed above.
I happen to have an extra copy of Wild at Heart. If you would like to have it, I can just mail it to you. Shipping is only $1.42 all in the U.S. so its no sweat.

Hey Quentin! Any updates? How's the recovery process going for you? Did you get to attend that group you told us about yet? Just wondered how you're doing....and prayed.

Hey Captivated,
Sorry I dont get on here much to give updates. I've removed my computer from my house and what not, and been really busy with other things so I havent had much time.
I didnt make it to the group. And right now its not going on. But sometime tomorrow I believe, I'm going to call and ask when it starts back.
Other than that....things are going well. I havent had the slightest temptations really.....all due to sticking close to God. But I have no doubt in my mind that things will get harder for me later on.
As for my ex-fiance...well between her and I things are much better. We're on a level of hanging out, reading, and praying. Very often what I did pops up, and we both end up in tears, but the healing of Jesus Christ kicks in quicker and quicker every time.
But I also ordered a book, "Breaking Free". So hopefully that will be in soon...the reviews looked really nice on it.
I thank you for your prayers....they are definitely landing where they need to be! Very soon I think things will be harder, as I'm coming closer and closer to a point of taking the next step for God.
I'll keep you all updated on everything.
- David

Thanks for letting us know how you're doing, David. Sounds like good things afoot! ....and you are a wise man to pursue that group still, even though you've not really been tempted lately....to keep yourself protected and I'm sure your faith in God will also bring blessing to the group you attend. Yes, prayer is powerful....HE is powerful! Keep us posted when able.
Blessings to you! captivated
