I know it's late, but Happy Birthday to WI!
Is she 29 forevah like me LOL??!!
It's only by the grace of God we've stayed married this long ha!
And happy anni to BC!
May God Bless and heal ALL of our marriages so that we may have victory in Christ and then we'll also be able to help others who are suffering. Isn't that why God gives us trials? So, in turn, we can help and comfort those who have gone through SA. God also gives us trials so that we grow in Christ.

I want to announce that Paul recently celebrated 1 month of sobriety from P and MB. He has my permission to do this. Paul, thank you so much for sharing your experience here with us at Blazing Grace. What an encouragement after all that you've been through. Congratulations. If anyone else has some edifying words to share for our friend Paul, please do so. Officially it was 6 months sobriety for me on July 4, 2015. I wanted to say thank you to all of you for your support. We've sure come a long way in such a short time haven't we? And I thank the Lord, too. He's made the impossible, possible. I'm looking forward to what the Lord has in store for Blazing Grace for the remainder of 2015.

Happy belated birthday, Steve!
I also wanted to say that yesterday marks the beginning of my husband's longest stretch of sobriety ever. He had months under his belt last year, and then he got overconfident (his words). He stopped going to group. He now has two more days of sobriety than he has ever had.
We had a really nice talk last night about his fears about sobriety leading up to our wedding. It was a big deal to him that he made it that far, he was so afraid of breaking sobriety in the weeks before the wedding. Now that he has more sobriety under his belt than he has ever had before, he is surprisingly humble. I am very proud of him, especially because of how seriously he takes his recovery, and how broken he is about his past.
Recovery is so an individual experience.

I went back to the beginning of a thread and I just realized that BG opened up in 2005 so that makes us a decade old! Happy anniversary BG and may God continue to bless us and bring more hurting souls are way to minister to.
