I tend to bounce around like a yo-yo as I suspect most of you have noticed by know.
Marriage, divorce and remarriage did not mean anything to me to start with as I just want sex/intercourse any way I could get it without any real effort on my part and with whomever I set my eye's on. And I'm going to tell you right upfront, age, gender, or object made no difference. From my first initiation into the world of lust and sex it became my god.
Like most of us, we would love to be able to turn our past around and change it. But that is something that is even impossible for God to do too.
All any of us can do today is repent of our past sins and walk in God's ways and not in our own flesh.
I'm going to stop here for the moment as I've got to get some hot coffee.
Act 17:11 Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so.(NASV)

Hi Virgil, and thanks for your honest sharing! I wish more people here would speak up and talk about what's going on in their lives, whether good or bad.
I was going to post some stuff in my own "My Journey" thread, but will just put it here. So I am preaching to myself. I've had a couple of good weeks now, so obviously desperately need to be consistent in my walk with God day by day.
In the prayer Jesus taught us to pray, we ask, "And do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one." (Matthew 6:13 CSB)
So this is one of the basic things God wants us to ask for, right along with daily bread, etc. God wants to deliver us from temptation.
When that feeling of temptation starts to overwhelm us, we must start moving closer to God. Resisting the devil is only part of it. We aren't strong enough to resist the devil. We must draw near to God, and just picture him holding us close and hugging us.
"Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded." (James 4:7-8)
And once again, in Hebrews 4:15-16, we have the same idea......
"For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin. Therefore, let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in time of need."
God bless you, my brother. Thanks for your post. Praying for you, and please pray for me too!

"For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted." Heb. 2:18
know how you feel man! Can I recommend a book? "Sexual Healing" by David Kyle Foster was really a massive blessing for me. It is a tough read for people like us with this idol, but fruitful. It is one thing that helped move me from a 'porn every two weeks' person to 'porn every three months' person.
Saved, keep going bro!!! All the holy angels in Heaven are cheering you on! Right about this time, the enemy is going to try to trip you up, but if you ignore him and keep going on righteously anyway, his bubble will burst and you'll be massively blessed! Now is the time when you have the opportunity to make a difference!

teetop: that though the death toll seems high, I would suggest you look at the numbers a little closer. Take note as to how many are dying with complications from something else. And secondly, the death toll is nowhere near the number incurred in 1918, [/b

Dominic: Yes, I am reminded that Jesus spoke of plagues in the end times. I think the COVID-19 meets that criteria.
May 21, 2020 15:43:10 GMT -7
teetop: Notice anything strange about this supposed plague. Have you taken the time to research how many deaths have been caused by COVID-19 alone? Good luck.

teetop: The real problem lies in who is going to gain the most from this country shut down? There are many things that have to happen in society to usher in the Antichrist. We know that many doors have to be opened to the world for the whole world to turn. [/

teetop: Well, good to see we are still at work. My wife & I were talking about our situation being separated after 25+-years-of-marriage. The question, 'Was it God's will? We are beginning to think so. Maybe I need to do a different style post on this topic.[/b

Dominic: I believe in the vaccine for flu and also one hopefully for corona. It's sad to me that there are so many Christians who feel the opposite. I understand the end times and Anti-Christ and one world governmetn but I also know Pastor who go the COVID us.
Jun 11, 2020 23:51:30 GMT -7
Dominic: I also believe that the coming antichrist will use any means necessary to control everyone since that is already prophesied. vaccine or not. covid or not. the issue is covid is prophesied from Jesus already as plagues in the last days.

Dominic: Hi TeeTop, I don't know if it was God's will for you and your wife to separate. We know God hates divorce but if there is s-xually immorality then according to Matthew 19 Jesus permitted divorce. The wife is also free to forgive but if ...

Dominic: the husband can't stop, then she must do what is right for the family. Husbands do not have the right to hurt their wifes like this and my wife already told me that if I mess up again, she is gone for good because I did over and over mess up.

Dominic: If you want to know more about our story, you can send me a personal message and I'll try to help you out. Please don't get me wrong, I am not saying I am better or recovered but I can share my testimony if you want to hear it. If not, then ok too.
