Hey everyone
One of the concepts that Mike mentions in his book Road to Grace is the idea of turn and connect. I know in my head what turn and connect is - I have read over multiple times and have even dialogued with my counsellor over the idea but its just not sticking with me once I step foot out my front door and I face the onslaught. Any practical tips, practices, thoughts that people have had that have made using this idea every day?

Hi @arctic68,
I struggle with this too. Some days are better than others. If I'm having a hard time keeping custody of my eyes and mind, I'll share it with others.
For me, it's been a process of getting better each day. It's been progress, not perfection.
As I mentioned before, for me it starts with the first thought or first look. If I say, "No," to the first one, there won't be a 2nd, or a 3rd, or a 5th, or an 8th.
Listening to only Christian music helps me when I'm on the road. I also have my Bible in audio format so I can listen to it in the car as well. My commute to work is 45 minutes each way. And it can be a triggering time for me. I can use that time for good or for evil.
