Yes. My understanding of that verse is that our help does NOT come from the hills (where pagan altars generally are), but from the Lord.

1 I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? 2 My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. -Psalm 121:1-2 ESV 4 times in the last day or so, God has brought this promise to my attention! I must note it well, and remember exactly WHO IT IS who has promised to help me. It's a great verse to remember. Always have a verse when Satan attacks.

I stumbled on Monday, but not like sometimes. By God's grace, I am making progress.
I won't let it put me back to zero days, but no perfect record either.
Continuing with GLORY DAYS. I finished the book, but now I got my own copy where I can underline and mark important parts. These truths need to go deep into my mind.
7 The law of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. 8 The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes. 9 The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the LORD are firm, and all of them are righteous. 10 They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb. 11 By them your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward.
Psalm 19:7-11 NIV

He lifts up his eyes to the hills [full stop]. Then the question, Where does my help come from? And then the answer: "My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth." (ESV) Thanks for that insight.

Psalm 119:33-40 (ESV)
He
Teach me, O LORD, the way of your statutes; and I will keep it to the end. Give me understanding, that I may keep your law and observe it with my whole heart. Lead me in the path of your commandments, for I delight in it. Incline my heart to your testimonies, and not to selfish gain! Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; and give me life in your ways. Confirm to your servant your promise, that you may be feared. Turn away the reproach that I dread, for your rules are good. Behold, I long for your precepts; in your righteousness give me life!

The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.

Joshua 1:8-9 (ESV) This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
God had already given the land to His people. The task before them was to go in and occupy what was already theirs.
However, the present occupants were fierce and very frightening. Joshua, as leader, needed to meditate on the Word of God DAY AND NIGHT, and do according to all it said.
Romans chapter 6 is the New Testament parallel. If we belong to Jesus, what's written there is already ours! Let us rise up and possess it!

Seek the Lord while he may be found; call to him while he is near. Let the wicked one abandon his way and the sinful one his thoughts; let him return to the Lord , so he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will freely forgive. Isaiah 55:6-7 CSB bible.com/bible/1713/isa.55.6-7.CSB

BEAUTY FROM ASHES
Isaiah 61:1-4 (CSB)
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is on Me, because the LORD has anointed Me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners; to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor, and the day of our God’s vengeance; to comfort all who mourn, to provide for those who mourn in Zion; to give them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, festive oil instead of mourning, and splendid clothes instead of despair. And they will be called righteous trees, planted by the LORD to glorify Him. They will rebuild the ancient ruins; they will restore the former devastations; they will renew the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations.
