A worning ahead of time that some of my story may trigger, so read with caution.
Being accountable to others is not something I have given much thought on and that for many years, by my actions would make most people think, it's true. Well, that is not the case. Just the opposite is closer to the truth.
Yet, let me point out that this is a foreign idea when it comes to the flesh(Mine). In AA we choose someone to be our sponsor/accountability partner. (Now talk about a war going on between the flesh and the spirit!) I've noticed that it didn't make any difference whether I was a male or female when it came to trying to blame everything for my actions except the truth. And for most of us, the truth was out of sight to start with.
I was not raised in the faith to start with. In fact my first incounter with sex was long before any introduction to Christ and Church. And I've given some of the first incounter elswere here. (She being 18 and I, 6.) And I know now that, that was the doorway to a world of LUST in all my actions from that point on. That also was the beginning of my masturbation. (Does any of this bring to mind anything?)
Mat_10:42 "And whoever in the name of a disciple gives to one of these little ones even a cup of cold water to drink, truly I say to you, he shall not lose his reward."
Mat_18:6 but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.
Mat_18:10 "See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven.
Mat_18:14 "So it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones perish.
Mar_9:42 "Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe to stumble, it would be better for him if, with a heavy millstone hung around his neck, he had been cast into the sea.
Luk_17:2 "It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he would cause one of these little ones to stumble.

Now I know this may be a bit early for the verses, but they do fit in more ways than one and I will cover them in more details later as I go, along. Now this started out before any that I know about in the family became Christian or even went to church. How do you put into words a life that had so many screw-ups and mistakes and not always of your own choosing?
I'll be back:
