Viewed P the last three days. Hebrews 12:4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 1 John 1:7&9 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

I've reactivited my addiction. My desire to say yes is becoming stronger than my desire to say no.

That is true; it really is.
Now I want to say, even though it will seem like the correct, evangelical answer, I want to say what I am learning to truly believe myself.... and if you see my progress here you see something of the struggle.... Here it is: Jesus is stronger. Jesus has more power that all of those evil forces, whether the stuff in my own mind, Satan's fake angels, or whatever: Jesus is stronger.
"But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." from 1 Cor. 15 somewhere.
From a praise song at my church, very Scriptural, My God is MIGHTY TO SAVE.
The Lord is my strong tower. Prov. 18:10 - Tower of refuge and strength.
In my own little thread, I'm breaking down Psalm 18. David called upon the Lord and found him mighty to save.
Praying for you, my brother.

As one who can identify, at least to some degree, with what you are going through, I encourage you to take heart again. Especially the last part of what you wrote above..... Jesus both forgives and cleanses!

Doing much better, still have one area that I’m not having victory over but at least I’m not fighting on multiple fronts. I started going to Celebrate Recovery, best thing I’ve done for myself in a long time.

Hey Rical! That's awesome! Sharing honestly with others (including on these boards) is definitely one of the most important things for me. Like you, am having mixed success, but the periods free from porn, praise God, are getting longer. God bless you!

I'm doing well except for that one area that I refuse to let go of. Last week I went on a "fishing trip" , was amazed how quickly the door for Satan was opened. Tonight i was triggered by looking at a map of things which is why I'm posting tonight.i know it will pass so long as I let it go. I'm praying for you all.

Hi everyone, I haven’t posted in a while but have been checking in to see how everyone is doing. I made the choice to use a couple of weeks ago, to which I repented. I go to CR, I went up for a new blue chip and wrote the date for decision to repent and am using that as my sobriety date. The Lord reminded me at my CR meeting last night that it’s not that I can’t look at women for my own lustful desires but that I’ve been set free from having to. A reminder to all you ladies out there, don’t take your husband addiction personal, it’s not you, it’s them. Christ can only grow you when you get your focus on him (Jesus) and off those around you

Hi Rical! Good to read your posts again. Boy it is tough isn't it? But the Lord gives us strength. Finding wholesome outlets is a big struggle for me, but I'm slowly collecting things to do and be interested in that are (more of less) 'safe' from the wickedness. It's surprising how much of the world and existence doesn't even involve sexuality at all. We get tunnel vision with this addiction, but there's plenty of other stuff out there! God bless you!

In Sunday school this week the Lord impressed on my heart that until I change what fascinates me I will continue to struggle.
