I decided to tackle this issue because I have had to deal with it in my own life and have had to broach the subject with members here. This is a sensitive issue and not something we necessarily think about but it is very prevalent in our world today. Please if you respond, keep your posts respectful and do not take offense of any candid talk.
Let's face it unless you were a virgin and your partner was a virgin and neither of you have stepped outside the bounds of marriage, you have a chance of contracting an STD. It isn't something that was discussed in our family growing up and in was not something that was brought up in a sex education class. I know these things are discussed in today's sex education but not in my day and age.
I have found a comprehensive website that looks like it covers quite a bit. If you all have sites to add, please list them in this thread.
