Hi guys, well guess what, I stumbled and looked at porn on Tuesday and Friday
Super frustrating. Got to remember to relax and not get stressed by stuff that doesn't need to stress me
Ah well, God is good. He blessed me with a great day at Church today.
At least one good thing is that it doesn't feel 'normal' for me to look at porn anymore. It feels like something weird from my past, a flashback.
Am blessed to have got back to normal now - that is clean in the Lord Jesus. Thank you Lord!!!

Will, God is good. Just ask God to give you repentance and trust He will give you what you ask Him.

Shalom folks Well thank God have been blessed with a week's sobriety so feeling a bit better now. Have quit my stressful, horrendously office politics-full job and am now volunteering at a Christian Camp. Am loving it so far. It's my first step in trying to live as a 'full-time Christian' and am so very happy to be doing it. Hadn't realised how massively unhappy it was making me just having to work for 'the man' every day instead of Jesus. I believe and hope that it is not going to matter to me how much money I earn or other such things, the happiness to be gained from living amongst other born again believers and serving Jesus daily, in however so humble a way, is worth overwhelmingly more to me - peace of mind is in doing this, I am finding. God willing I can also find some deeper healing and deliverance here for my own problems and hang-ups as well. Praise be to our Almighty Father in Heaven, who loves us so dearly

WHAT'S UUUUUUUP!!! Hey guys! How are you all? Sorry I've been away for so long. Really stoked to see that this forum is lively and a lot of people posting and things happening. I'm not too bad. Have just completed 6 months volunteering for a Christian organisation in New Zealand, was a great time and a huge growing time for me as a Christian. From a sobriety point of view, 2019 was the best year yet for me, praise Almighty God and thank you Jesus! In that I experienced two runs of 3 months each (March-April-June and October-November-December) that were such massive blessings for me. Stumbled about a month ago unfortunately but now have nearly a month up. I know its not about numbers, but it's nice to know that the Lord working His Holy Spirit in me is paying off (sloooooowly) in actual testimony of changed habits. The downside of course is complacency. Tbh I had other things on my mind than posting here, that is good and bad I suppose. Today had a real 'massive attack' from out of nowhere. A memory of a porn video arrived on me whilst driving around the city and I was really attacked, I believe demonically, with a powerful desire to find it again and watch it. God blessed me to remember to pray to the Lord Jesus to take the desire away, and He blessed me to remember sleep - such a big thing in my struggle against this addiction, and I was able to lie down and get some sleep. When I woke up the enemy's bubble had popped and the desire was gone. PTL!!! How are you all going? Will endeavour to get round and read everybody's updates and comment. I missed you guys and love you - you have been blessings to me all of you!!

Will! It's so good to hear from you! It sounds like the Lord has been working in and through you. Praise God!
Demonic activity has been worse the last few months. Everyone has been experiencing attacks. It has to do with the time of the year. Witchcraft and occult holidays mimic ours...If we aren't aware of these things and drop our guard, demons; which have more power because of the ceremonies; have an easy in. However we must remember Jesus wins and we win because we have Christ in us.
I have been busy. Getting ready to move and busy at church. God has blessed me tremendously. I am super excited about the future for the first time ever. The Lord is good!

Hallelujah!! Am so happy to hear that : )
And yes good stuff about fending off attacks!
"13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints"
Ephesians 6

Well I stumbled again on Saturday morning : ( So that sucks
Not enough vigilance. Always comes at a time when things are going really well! It's like:
a) I'm not focused on vigilance because things are going well - get complacent, and b) something in me struggles to accept God's love, and there's some kind of panic/vertigo when things are going well, don't know what to do with it.
Overcame an attack today though, so that's good. Please keep me in your prayers!
Will

praying for you will. Keep asking God to change your heart. Please read the Word every day. I'm reading through the book of James with another brother. We are taking one chapter at at time. This week is chapter 3. Accept God's love for you. We are not worthy but God loves us anyways. "Romans 5:8"

Something that helps me is remembering who I was before Christ and asking myself if I want to go back to that. That answer gives me the resolve to continue with God and turn from sin and continue the battle. Maybe realizing the difference Christ has made in you will help you also.
Father God, I ask that you make Yourself real to Will. Let Him realize that who You are is love....that You are perfect love...That You are all love. Strengthen Will to battle this sin and all sin. Give him wisdom and knowledge on how to deal with the temptations that come his way. In Jesus's name Amen.
