I need your prayers, so much. Many of you know my story, but my life has become a vortex of turmoil and confusion. Not just with my husband, but work, church family...Satan is relentless in his attacks, and I feel that he is trying to destroy me. I know my Savior and my God are protecting me, but I have this constant feeling of fear and dread. I am dealing with the dissolution of my marriage, and thank God he recently agreed to settle out of court. My daughter is going to counseling, but we both still struggle daily with the huge changes in our life. The financial burden of being a single parent again is overwhelming and I feel like I am sinking. God have mercy on me!

I am praying for you broken. I'm sorry life is so hard for you right now. Satan seems to know his time is short and his attacks are relentless. Stand firm.

Broken, read my post in Helpful bible verses. There was a reason God lead me to that scripture and now I know it was not just for me but also for you.
I will be praying for you. I know what it is like going through divorce and financial difficulties. You mentioned your daughter was in counseling but what about you? Maybe you need to do some financial pruning. I have been doing that myself. Let me know if I can do anything to help. Feel free to start a thread to journal in, if that would help.

Thanks Brave and Amy. I have been pruning as well, letting things go that I don't need...home phone so far and satellite TV is probably next. I am willing to make the sacrifices necessary to survive. I am still tithing and offering first, knowing God will sustain and provide for us.
Counseling is impossible for me right now, but Journaling is a good option. I finally got my husband to speak the truth about what he wants, and this really helped me feel relief about getting closure. I just needed to hear him say it, and it did make a difference.
I appreciate the support and prayers, going to check out those verses Amy. Thank you.

We went to Roku with a Netflix subscription. So much cheaper. Roku device was 30 and Netflix is 10 a month for 2 screens. Much better then 100 for satellite. Also cancelled Verizon and went to a no contract cell plan. Verizon was 225...no contract 70 for 2 lines. We have to keep our land line because of where we live but I lowered the bill by 20 a month.
Keep leaning on God and don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it. Your church will help if you ask. Asking for help is hard because of our pride but God will use it to teach us humbleness.
Edited to add: I actually had to beg for a food box at Christmas time from the local food bank. We made too much to get one ($200 over) but had so many bills to pay that month that we ran out of food. God didn't make it easy on me either...there was a line of people waiting to be helped.

I am sitting at a local restaurant eating alone. I never imagined a simple thing like this could be so very depressing. My daughter is with Har dad and step sister celebrating his birthday with his family.
That's MY family, my husband, my children....but I am the outsider, the one who doean't belong. I always cooked for him and made his birthdays special, or went went out together and celebrated. Life was so happy and carefree, with security and peace. Now i'm sitting in a corner alone, forcing myself to take nourishment and wondering what happened to my life.

I feel heartbroken with you hon. I wish I could be there sitting across from you...but you have someone better sitting with you and offering you comfort, our Lord Jesus. I give you the only hug I can, a cyber one. I pray that you can feel it in your spirit.
