I think i am like the most of you. I started collecting pictures etc when ik was about 8/9 years old (i am now 40) and started masturbating when I was about 9. I found a sexmagazine when I was about 10. It excited me a lot. After that magazines from my older brother, then buying magazines and renting video's myself from about 17/18. As all of us I guess we have done things to get our fix. Lying we had to stay home for something and then surf the net etc...About 10 years ago started to surf the internet and started downloading movies etc. I also acted out attending gangbangparties. That was my single life and i didn't really think much of it. Now I am married for six years and i still have been collecting my movies and up tot about 2 months ago not acted out. Now I need to stop!!!This is rockbottom. I don't want to hurt my family and I want to get control back because in hinesight porn was running my life. I have been clean for about 4 weeks now. I don't see myself as a bad person but I can be a much better one without my addiction. I got rid of all my porn and have taken Safari of my iphone. I feel good about this and I feel strong. I am living in Europe so forgive me my bad spelling. Its not yet seen as a big problem over here but I think it is when its making you loose control and making you do things you don't want to. Its good to see that there are people who are supporting each other to fight this!! Unfortunately there are no meeting over here. Thanks for reading. Any good advise is welcome.

Excellent! The 12-step program has changed my life. Contacting people and attending those meetings is a scary step to take; it's great that you're doing it!
Doei,

Spelling is no problem for those of us who struggle with it too. It is nice to be able to use some form of spell check.
As for any good advice, I'd say; never give up on our war with our flesh to start with. And place Jesus Christ on the throne instead of us. Not an easy one to do when, if your like me and tried to run the show all the time. Nothing but trouble from the get go.
Yet I can honestly say there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Php 2:12 So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; Php 2:13 for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. (NASB)
Here is what, 'Jamieson, Fausset and Brown Commentary,' has to say on this verse. I couldn't say it any better. Philippians 2:12
Wherefore — Seeing that we have in Christ such a specimen of glory resulting from “obedience” (Phi_2:8) and humiliation, see that ye also be “obedient,” and so “your salvation” shall follow your obedience. as ye have ... obeyed — “even as ye have been obedient,” namely, to God, as Jesus was “obedient” unto God (see on Phi_2:8). not as, etc. — “not as if” it were a matter to be done “in my presence only, but now (as things are) much more (with more earnestness) in my absence (because my help is withdrawn from you)” [Alford]. work out — carry out to its full perfection. “Salvation” is “worked in” (Phi_2:13; Eph_1:11) believers by the Spirit, who enables them through faith to be justified once for all; but it needs, as a progressive work, to be “worked out” by obedience, through the help of the same Spirit, unto perfection (2Pe_1:5-8). The sound Christian neither, like the formalist, rests in the means, without looking to the end, and to the Holy Spirit who alone can make the means effectual; nor, like the fanatic, hopes to attain the end without the means. your own — The emphasis is on this. Now that I am not present to further the work of your salvation, “work out your own salvation” yourselves the more carefully. Do not think this work cannot go on because I am absent; “for (Phi_2:13) it is God that worketh in you,” etc. In this case adopt a rule different from the former (Phi_2:4), but resting on the same principle of “lowliness of mind” (Phi_2:3), namely, “look each on his own things,” instead of “disputings” with others (Phi_2:14). salvation — which is in “Jesus” (Phi_2:10), as His name (meaning God-Savior) implies. with fear and trembling — the very feeling enjoined on “servants,” as to what ought to accompany their “obedience” (Eph_6:5). So here: See that, as “servants” to God, after the example of Christ, ye be so “with the fear and trembling” which becomes servants; not slavish fear, but trembling anxiety not to fall short of the goal (1Co_9:26, 1Co_9:27; Heb_4:1, “Let us fear, lest a promise being left us of entering into His rest, any should come short of it”), resulting from a sense of our human insufficiency, and from the consciousness that all depends on the power of God, “who worketh both to will and to do” (Rom_11:20). “Paul, though joyous, writes seriously” [J. J. Wolf].
Enjoy our freedom. Virgil
