This is a very good post and reply.
The only thing I'll add is one will also find this type of "church building" mentality in the news when there's a fire. Haven't you ever seen the headlines similar to "The (Blank) Church burned down last night and arson is suspected". Uh no, it was just the church building that burnt down. The church itself is probably alive and well, and who knows, maybe they'll have their service in the parking lot one the next Sunday.  |

When I first tryed, to go to someone for help, a pastor about my use of porn. I was told "To just stop looking at it". He had no idea what I was really saying.
The pastor, as I feel many are, do not know what porn and sexual sin is. They know it isn't good, nor should it be tolarated. But they do not know what or how to deal with it. That is where we, yes we, those that have walked or have been walking in this sin need to stand up and be counted. We have to show ourselves to be the leaders in the fight against this sin. Speak out and say that there is hope. Tell others that whith Christ there is freedom, forgivness and a new light.
That goes for the spouses also. If one stands with there mate then others will come forward. Will, some churches look down on us? Yes, but then there are the churches that are not alive. A church that will condim and point a finger is already dead.
A good Christren is one that will get out of the boat and walk on the water toward Christ.

He's been away from BG for about 15 years now, but as far as I know, he's been doing well.
